The Gentlemen’s Workshop is a monthly experience series designed to give you a killer “How was your weekend?” story to tell . Every month, we plan events to make men wiser, more intriguing or, possibly, harder to kill. The GW brings guys together to activate the old friendships they have while making new ones, too.

Is the GW only in MN? ‍ ‍
Yes. Right now we are piloting this only in the Twin Cities area. Our experience locations vary based on where our vendor/partner is located. Example: Blacksmithing class was in Carver at Northstar Forge.

How often do the workshops happen?
Monthly. Typically on Thursdays or Sundays, and rarely on Fridays or Saturdays.

Is this only for certain aged guys? ‍ ‍
Not at all! All ages of men are welcome! And we hope you bring a friend with you too.

Does this thing require me to buy a subscription? ‍ ‍
Nope. Signing up to get updates about the experiences is free (fill out the form above)! You can pay for one experience at a time, pay as you go.

Can I bring my significant other? ‍ ‍
The GW is designed as a social series for men. For our straight friends, I mean, you could bring your lady but it would be awkward for her. Look for Co-Ed GW experiences in the future though. For our gay friends, yes, bring your man and take a workshop together!

How much does it cost?
Each workshop varies in price but the typical price is $50-$150 per event.

Can I just go to the experiences that interest me?
Yes, that’s the idea. For ultimate flexibility.

Can I bring my teenager?
Yes, to most of the experiences. Kids should be ages 15 and up unless noted on the event page. Each person needs to be registered and paid for separately.

Who started The Gentlemen’s Workshop? ‍ ‍
The GW was started back in 2015 by Travis Robertson and a couple of friends who wanted to participate in experiences that gave them a “You did what??!” story to tell the next day. After a long hiatus, The GW has been revamped and reintroduced in July 2026 for the public.
